 Terms And Conditions         

1)      Eligibility             

A)    All Tutors with Plus(+) Tutor Home Tuition Agency must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent    

B)     We have tutors from polytechnics(currently schooling) to post degree/working adult as part-time tutors based on their tutoring  

Experience. All our tutors need to have a minimum academic

Qualification of an ‘O’ Level certificate and excellent grades in those teaching subjects.      

C)    Tutors must produce all necessary certificates/documents as such

NRIC or ‘O’ Level certificate

to prove their credential & qualification when parent/student

requested on his/her first lesson.   

D)    Most home tuition are conducted over at student’s place, unless special cases where group tuition required tutor to go to another student’s place or even new address of student. To reduce miscommunication, both client Parent/Student & Tutor have to be informed prior to first tuition session. Plus(+) Tutor Home Tuition will be involved in above disagreement between two parties.

E)     We are particular about tutor’s punctuality on every tuition lesson

and parents have rights to terminate tuition service on that reason,unless a valid reason is given by tutor & accepted by parent.

2)       Commission         

A)    Plus(+)Tutor Home Tuition Agency offered a reasonable low tuition fees to student and on the other hand, we charges a mere one-one-time commission for each recommended by us. 

B)     Like most agencies, we charge 50% commission to tutor on the first

month’s tuition fees.  This is an example of commission payment:

For instance if there are 8 lessons per month,say on Pri 6 Assignments, we collect tuition fees for 4 lessons on 4^th lesson/after 4 lessons. Same will apply for 4 lessons per month on an assignment,

we collect  tuition fees for 2 lessons only and tutor will receive same 2 lessons per month like us.

From second month tuition onwards, tutors will receive a full month

tuition fee and no fee will collect from us.

3)      Termination/Cancellation of Assignment         

A)    In any event when tutor are not able to attend tuition lesson in the first of month, he/she has to give a prior notice of 48 hours before the lesson time to Plus(+)Tutor Home Tuition Agency and as well as to student of the assignment.

B)     For Tutor: -

                                 The minimum tutor’s commitment period is 1 month’s time and

if tutor terminates a tuition assignment within the first month, Plus(+) Tutor Home Tuition Agency will recover legal share of 50% commission for the first month from tutor

C)    For Student/Parents: - 

If the parents prematurely terminates the first month assignment with

tuiton reasons like chronically late tutor, not suitable tutor(not familiar with the subjects) or any valid explanation, tutor will have to bear & receive 50% of the payment for all the services hours

(he may only attend 1^st hours of two hours’ tuition lesson)

D)    When a tutor failed to notify any of us and provide a valid reason of

own cancellation of tuition, an administrative charge of 50% of first month tuition fee will be imposed on the tutor.

To maintain our credential to tuition business, a valid reason ought to be given on notification.

Two acceptable reasons will be as follows:

 (B1) The parent/student accepts the tutor’s given reason

 (B2) Medical Certificate is needed to prove to parent if tutor’s 

         absence is due to medical conditions.       

                  4)  Confidentiality of All Particulars

A)    As Tuition agency’s role, we are ensure our client, parents & students 

find the right tutor to improve student’s grade & good communication between tutor & parents and make certain that all your particulars are not being misused

B)     All information from students & tutors are kept in tip confidental

      (e.g unsolicited emails) other than for records purpose

                  5) Term for Current Teachers

                      To comply with Ministry of Education rules & regulations, 

                      Plus(+) Tutor Home Tuition Agency will not allow current teacher s

                      to accept tuition assignments from any student who are from their teaching

                      schools.  With immediate effect, his/her tuition service will be terminated

                      on above condition and we will report his/her identify to that of school’s

                      principal. Please note that this applied to current school teacher, not to

                      lecturers from tertiary institutions
